By using unfinished wood, we can guarantee that every floor we install is fully customized to the needs and preferences of our clients and that it fits their space perfectly.  We can also stain your new wood floors to the exact color you want and apply protective coatings with a satin, semi-gloss, or high gloss finish.

FAQ

What is hardwood flooring?

Wood flooring is any product manufactured from timber that is designed for use as flooring, either structural or aesthetic.  Wood is a common choice for flooring material and can come in various styles, colors, cuts, and species.

What is engineering hardwood flooring?

Engineering wood flooring consists of two or more layers of wood adhered together to form a plank. Engineered wood flooring uses a thin layer (lamella) of a more expensive wood bonded to a core constructed from cheaper wood. The increased stability of engineered wood is achieved by running each layer at a 90º angle to the layer above.

How thick is hardwood flooring?

Most flooring is 3/4 inch thick, although some manufacturers often opt for a solid that is 5/16 inches thick. While solid hardwood flooring is normally nailed to a subfloor, thin-profile solid flooring can be glued down over concrete and other hard surfaces.
